Rhodes Grand Palace
Uphill from the port and contiguous with the city wall, is the Palace of the Grand Masters. It was extensively restored by the Italians after blowing up in 1856 when it was used for munitions storage. Still, it was interesting and there were early mosaic floors which were transported from other parts of Greece and that dated to 1st - 3rd centuries AD.
The outside gate had some general information and hours the palace was open. The inner door to the palace courtyard.
Entry fee was 1200 drachmas.
