Next stop, on Thursday, December 23rd, was Dounia's hometown, Casablanca. We spent the day - what little there was, with her family. We were due to leave port at 6PM but due to Ramadan, the dock workers wanted to leave early, so we had to be back on board at 4PM instead. We wheeled around town with Dounia's sisters and ate wonderful meals twice at her parent's house in this very short time. Communicating was interesting since we don't share much language - basically a very little English and slightly more French.
